Create your own agenda with a private lesson, and receive specialized attention for fast, fun results. With over 1,300 best-in-the-business pros across four mountains, we have coaches for every age and ability level. From beginning turns to hitting the steeps and deeps or jibbing in the park & pipe, we teach it all, and we guarantee it!

You and up to four friends or family members (no additional charge) will enjoy privileges that include custom-tailored teaching, priority lift access, mountain guiding, and overnight ski/snowboard storage. Offered every day at every mountain, lessons are available starting from 9 a.m. or by special arrangement. Lessons with pros fluent in many different languages are also offered, subject to availability. RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AND REQUIRE PREPAYMENT.

For intermediate to advanced skiers, Mountain Explorers is the ultimate ski week, designed for fun, mountain exploration, learning and camaraderie. Staying with the same certified pro and group for four days allows you to explore our mountains as a team. Mountain Explorers groups begin at Snowmass, travel to other mountains (based on group's desire), and wrap up with a fun après-ski party. On the first day, you should arrive at the meeting place at 9:45 a.m. with your lift ticket, lesson ticket and equipment.

If you are beyond Beginner's Magic, take your skiing or riding to the next level by joining an adult group lesson. Learn more with a group of similarly-skilled skiers or riders as you polish your turns and master the bumps, steeps and deeps. Riders focus on all-mountain skills and gain confidence in the park & pipe. Park & pipe group lessons for skiers are also available on Snowmass and Buttermilk by prior arrangement. Skiing is offered every day on all four mountains for intermediate to expert skiers. Snowboarding is offered daily at Snowmass and Buttermilk only for intermediate to expert riders. Plan to arrive at the meeting place at 9:50 a.m. with your lift ticket, lesson ticket and equipment.

Beginner's Magic

Specifically designed to meet the needs of beginner-level skiers and snowboarders, Beginner's Magic utilizes a teaching method that promotes peak performance, confidence and mountain awareness. Our fully trained pros will familiarize you with the use and feel of the specialized beginner equipment and how it works with the snow surface. As you progress, you will learn how to use the chairlift and will access more and more of the mountain. Your progress will astonish you… it's guaranteed.

The Beginner's Magic package includes instruction, lift ticket and specialized equipment rental voucher (over $230 per day if purchased separately)! Extensions are encouraged and are available through level 4. Lessons are available every day at Snowmass and Buttermilk. Arrive at the meeting place at 9:45 a.m. with your lift ticket, lesson ticket and equipment.

Women's Edge

Share an exciting and fun four days on the slopes with women-specific, certified pros. Whether you are an intermediate skier looking to build confidence in your abilities or an advanced skier eager for the challenges of double-black terrain, Women's Edge provides an opportunity to advance your skills and develop lasting relationships. Offered Monday through Thursday every week from January 7 to March 27, the program includes video analysis, a women's luncheon, equipment lectures, and the option to travel to our other mountains with small groups of similar abilities. On the first day, please arrive at the meeting place at 9:45 a.m. with your lift ticket, lesson ticket and equipment. RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED.

Women's Edge Extreme Camp

Back once again by popular demand, the Women's Edge Extreme Camp provides coaching for women who love to rip in all terrain and conditions. The four-day session of extreme terrain skiing, from January 21-24 (runs concurrently with our regular four-day Women's Edge program), is open to women skiers levels 8 and up who are eager for the challenge of double-black terrain and offers coaching in both the technical and psychological aspects of extreme skiing. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.
Breakthrough on Skis - Group Sessions
(Levels 4 & Up)

Experience the only intensive week-long ski program based on Lito Tejada-Flores' best-selling book, DVDs and videos. Under the direction of the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass, Breakthrough on Skis is taught by pros personally selected and trained by Lito himself. If you are ready to move from an intermediate skier to an expert, to feel at home in all terrain, and to have tons of fun in the process, this is the course for you. Each Breakthrough on Skis week includes five days of coaching, a six-day lift ticket, après-ski lectures and a wrap-up banquet. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.

Join us for an exploration into skiing's roots. Telemarking, one of the original styles of skiing, offers the greatest range of motion to be enjoyed while sliding on snow. An adult ski racing program coached by renowned ski guru Mike Taché and his elite staff, Taché Racing offers a professionally coached training experience for intermediate to expert skiers in a fun, controlled environment guaranteed to improve any skier's level of performance skiing. Be guided to becoming a better all-mountain skier through the use of gates and gate-related drills, video analysis, and centering, relaxation and mind/body awareness techniques.

From January through March, training days at Aspen Highlands are available every Tuesday through Friday. Training on Aspen Mountain is available in December and by advance reservation/request January through March. All training days include on-snow training from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., video movement analysis and evening films and lectures. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.

Aspen Klug Camp

Chris Klug's eighth annual snowboard camp returns to Buttermilk March 28 – 30, 2008, for another year of halfpipe, boardercross, giant slalom and slalom training from Chris' assembled team of world-class coaches. Designed for intermediate to expert riders – both soft and hardbooters – ages ten and up, this camp will take your riding to the next level. Whether you are a pro looking to gain a split second or go bigger, or an intermediate rider hoping to improve your all-mountain riding and experiment in a boardercross course or superpipe, the Klug Camp offers it all.

This ALL-MOUNTAIN SKIING CAMP, hosted by two-time World Freestyle Champion John Clendenin and his select certified pros, introduces the joy of mogul and off-piste skiing to intermediate skiers and above. The two-day adult camps introduce four essential movements that open the door to the joy of skiing bumps. Try something different this vacation - learn to slide rails! Othello's Rail Rider camps teach proper park etiquette, how to get on a rail properly, and how to take off and land big air jumps. Located at the top of Aspen Mountain, the Rail Riding Hood is designed so jibbers can get the maximum number of rails and jumps a day. Riders are grouped according to skill level so each rider progresses FAST! Private lessons are available on non-camp days. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.

Provide the ultimate in childcare for your child with our new nanny service for children ages three and under. One of our attentive childcare givers will spend the entire day one-on-one with your child both on and off the snow, providing individual care and attention in the group setting of our Colorado state-licensed daycare center. Children enrolled in Cubs on Skies will spend time on snow with our preschool-specific pros in their own learning area complete with Magic Carpets. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying hands-on activities at the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center at Snowmass or the Panda House at Buttermilk. Lesson, equipment, lunch and daycare are include. Big Burn Bears

At Big Burn Bears, preschoolers learn to ski under the guidance of specially-trained pros. Their own beginner area, obstacle courses, Magic Carpet and immediate access to the rest of the mountain make skiing a fun experience. Plus the Treehouse includes their very own Bear Den, a themed indoor activity center complete with a puppet theater and a great place for lunch. Bears must be potty trained. Grizzlies

The Grizzlies spend their days on the mountain, enjoying their own beginner area and direct lift access for tearing up the slopes. Powder Pandas

Pandas enjoy a world of their own near the base of Buttermilk with the perfect teaching hill all to themselves, complete with their own Magic Carpet area. More advanced Pandas ride the unforgettable skitch towed by a snowmobile to their lesson area and, when ready, ski the mountain top to bottom. Lunch is included. The Powder Pandas program is convenient for parents skiing at Aspen Mountain or Aspen Highlands. Powder Pandas must be potty trained. RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AND REQUIRE PREPAYMENT.

Camp Aspen/Snowmass kids explore the coolest trails and adventure zones, and practice jibbing skills in the park & pipe – all while making friends and learning to ski and ride in a fun, supportive environment. Park & pipe group lessons for skiers and riders at the appropriate ability level are available at Snowmass and Buttermilk only. Highlights of the week include Pinãta Day and Marshmallow Day at Buttermilk, and race days at other Camp Aspen/Snowmass locations. Our Teens’ Too-Cool-for-School program, offered every day throughout the season, is taught by our most fun-loving and qualified coaches. Teens explore the mountain, checking out all of the terrain, from the beginner areas and the easy groomers to the park & pipe and the bumps and steeps. Groups are divided according to skill level and goals. Park & pipe lessons are available at Snowmass and Buttermilk only. To take lessons at Highlands, teens must be level 5 or higher and able to do a hockey stop in both directions on skis or link turns on blue runs on a snowboard. Join other advanced and expert skiers for this freeskiing camp designed to teach kids and teens how to ski North America's toughest black and double-black diamond terrain in a fun, dynamic environment. Small groups rip together for four days with the same pro and are often joined by top freeskiing competitors. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. Reservations recommended.

Othello's Rail Riders
