If you are beyond Beginner's Magic, take your skiing or riding to the next level by joining an adult group lesson. Learn more with a group of similarly-skilled skiers or riders as you polish your turns and master the bumps, steeps and deeps. Riders focus on all-mountain skills and gain confidence. Skiing is offered every day on all four mountains for intermediate to expert skiers. Snowboarding is offered daily at Snowmass and Buttermilk only for intermediate to expert riders. Plan to arrive at the meeting place at 9:50 a.m. with your lift ticket, lesson ticket and equipment. |

Specifically designed to meet the needs of beginner-level skiers and snowboarders, Beginner's Magic utilizes a teaching method that promotes peak performance, confidence and mountain awareness. Our fully trained pros will familiarize you with the use and feel of the specialized beginner equipment and how it works with the snow surface. As you progress, you will learn how to use the chairlift and will access more and more of the mountain. Your progress will astonish you… it's guaranteed.
The Beginner's Magic package includes instruction, lift ticket and specialized equipment rental voucher. Extensions are encouraged and are available through level 4. Lessons are available every day at Snowmass and Buttermilk. Arrive at the meeting place at 9:45 a.m. with your lift ticket, lesson ticket and equipment.
Please note: rental voucher must be redeemed at any Four-Mountain Sports location. If you are in Snowmass, visit the Beginner's Magic location at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola at Elk Camp Meadows beginner area the morning of your lesson. Please allow at least one hour to be fitted for your equipment on your first day! |

Mountain Explorers groups begin at Snowmass, travel to other mountains (based on group's desire), and wrap up with a fun après-ski party. Offered Monday through Thursday every week from January 5 to March 26, the program includes a women's luncheon, equipment lectures, and the option to travel to our other mountains with small groups of similar abilities. Chris Klug snowboard camp hits Buttermilk April 2-4, 2010, for another session of halfpipe, boardercross, giant slalom and slalom training from Chris' assembled team of world-class coaches. Designed for beginner, intermediate to expert riders – both soft and hardbooters – ages seven and up, this camp will take your riding to the next level. Whether you are a pro looking to gain a split second or go bigger, or a beginner or intermediate rider hoping to improve your all-mountain riding and experiment in a boardercross course or superpipe, the Klug Camp offers it all. |

Experience the only intensive week-long ski program based on Lito Tejada-Flores' best-selling book, DVDs and videos. Under the direction of the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass, Breakthrough on Skis is taught by pros personally selected and trained by Lito himself. If you are ready to move from an intermediate skier to an expert, to feel at home in all terrain, and to have tons of fun in the process, this is the course for you. Have fun, look good and feel control in the bumps. This ALL-MOUNTAIN SKIING CAMP, hosted by two-time World Freestyle Champion John Clendenin and his select certified pros, introduces the joy of mogul skiing to intermediate skiers and above. These adult camps introduce four easy, essential movements that open the door to the joy of skiing bumps. Included in the camps are use of new demo equipment, video analysis, indoor ski simulator lessons, an improvement certificate, and opening/closing parties. |

An adult ski racing program coached by renowned ski guru Mike Taché and his elite staff, Taché Racing offers a professionally coached training experience for intermediate to expert skiers in a fun, controlled environment guaranteed to improve any skier's level of performance skiing. Be guided to becoming a better all-mountain skier through the use of gates and gate-related drills, video analysis, and centering, relaxation and mind/body awareness techniques.
From January through March, training days at Aspen Highlands are available every Tuesday through Friday. All training days include on-snow training from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., video movement analysis and evening films and lectures. The Magic of Skiing is Aspen Skiing Company's longest running specialty program for a good reason: it focuses on the "big picture." Rather than viewing skiing (or riding) as a series of techniques, the Magic of Skiing sees it as a vehicle for self-awareness and an opportunity to practice centering, to cultivate appreciation and to discover how to unify the mind and body to achieve inner peace - all while having even more fun on the mountain!
The program includes five full days of skiing with some of the top pros in the world plus early morning and après-ski sessions with Thomas Crum, whose work in peak performance, stress reduction and conflict resolution is world renowned. The four-day session of extreme terrain skiing, from January 18-21 (runs concurrently with our regular four-day Women's Edge program), is open to women skiers levels 8 and up who are eager for the challenge of double-black terrain and offers coaching in both the technical and psychological aspects of extreme skiing. Our Colorado state-licensed daycare, located in the Treehouse, caters to infants and toddlers and provides a licensed registered nurse on staff.
