We saw the Shadowbrook's beautiful pools from the chairlift last year and decided we wanted to stay here! We are actually here now, and really enjoying ourselves. We love that we can keep an eye on our children in the bigger pool as we lounge in the adjoining hot pool. And the condo is really big and comfortable (503/4). The staff here is friendly and very helpful. So far so good!

Christmas Week 2009

Shadowbrook is a wonderful place to stay.  It really is ski-in/ski-out.  The accommodations couldn't be better.  If a problem arises Sherri, Sue, Kelley, and Keith are always ready to come to the rescue.  This is our fourth year at Shadowbrook and we will return.

We had a great week in Snowmass and a wonderful second year at the Shadowbrook Condos!  We just love the location and the convenience, not to mention the condition of the property.  Our two small children were in the ski school a mere 100 yds walk to the Treehouse.  I loved that feature because my bigger child could ski down and ski back in from the Skittles gondola.  He really felt like a big kid skiing in and out! I could walk my little one down and could even sneak a peak at her lesson or be there quickly if the school called. 

We had a washer and dryer in our unit this year and I thought I would really appreciate it but it didn't matter much.  Last year I put the laundry in the laundry room where they provided detergent and picked it up when it was done.  I don't spend much time doing laundry anyway on vacation.

Both of the units we have stayed in have been very well appointed and lacked for nothing.  I love that they provide some basics to get you started before you do some shopping, like paper towels, sponges, soap, etc.  The bus to the village grocery strore couldn't be easier.  We walked to the street and hopped on and were there in minutes.  If it wasn't so snowy and cold that week I would have walked.

We all liked unwinding in the beautiful pools after skiing.  They are new and always clean.
I like having the village mall and the new base village within a short walk if I feel like doing some shopping or getting meeting my husband for lunch.
We had never tried the Artisan restaurant before and loved the food as well as the very short walk down the street for dinner. 

We are looking forward to going back again next year and staying at Shadowbrook again! Thanks!

March was our first trip to Snowmass, and our stay at Shadowbrook could not have been better.  New hot tub was wonderful- hot, good jets, attractive and clean.  Staff- Sherri, Jorge, and others- were attentive to our needs and full of helpful information and explanations.  Condo (Unit 502) was comfortable, roomy, easily managed, and tasteful.  Housekeeping did a wonderful and unobtrusive job helping us keep the place clean and well-stocked.  Mother Nature cooperated with 5 1/2 bluebird days and 1 1/2 powder days.  Skier access is almost perfect, especially for lunch and upon closing the mountain.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return on a regular basis.

The pool and hot tub renovation was a big success.  The facility is very convenient to both the new kids' ski center and to the old base village.  We stayed in Unit 203 and could not be happier.  Very well put together and wonderful details.

We love staying at Shadowbrook. Our family enjoys the spacious double condo we rent and this year we were impressed and surprised by the new pool and hot tubs. They are wonderful and our family enjoyed them every afternoon when we finished skiing. It has been a great addition to the complex. We love being able to ski down to the lift, come in for lunch and the easy access to ski school for our granddaughter. We are coming back every year.

Our stay has been wonderful, we couldn't ask for better accommodations or service.  We requested a tea kettle and when we returned from skiing that day Sue had purchased one for us.  Sherri is very helpful and answers our many questions.

I just wanted to thank Sue, Keith and Sherri for our wonderful stay this March. This is our second trip to Snowmass and we stayed in unit #204 with our 4 kids. There is so much to do in Snowmass, with the village so close and all the activities for the kids.   The welcoming packet was so nice to have as it gave phone numbers, maps, bus schedules, and even cookies!

The kids  loved how warm the pool was and how you could see it and fanny hill right from the deck. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The biggest tip I got this time was the grocery delivery service! It was SO nice to come right into a kitchen full of fresh food and champagne chilled! If you do not rent a car (and we definitely did not need one), this is the perfect way to have some food on hand without wasting one moment of your vacation.

When it was time to leave our flight was cancelled from Aspen to Denver and we could not get another flight for two days. Thank you to everyone at Shadowbrook for going the extra distance to make sure we were not stranded without a place to stay! I will definitely come back to visit next year!

We stayed in unit 506 . This is a great unit. It had really nice finishes (granite countertops, Kohler fixtures) and was nicely decorated. The property is right on Fanny Hill, so it is very easy to get to the slopes. I would recommend this property and this unit. We give it a 10 out of 10!

Thank you so much for all of your help during our stay in Snowmass the week of 2/11 - 2/19 in condo 104.  We had a great time and were extremely lucky to be able to fly out that 2/19 night just after the snow storm....The condo was great, comfortable and very nicely appointed.

I wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience my family had during our stay at Shadowbrook in unit 402.  Management was friendly and accommodating during our stay. Our condo was convenient and clean. Also, the housekeeping staff was not only friendly and trustworthy, they were more than competent.  This was the third trip to Snowmass for my family, and by far the most enjoyable.  Our party consisted of members from 61 down to 4 years old, and all were comfortable during our stay at Shadowbrook.  We plan to continue our annual trip to Snowmass, and look forward to making Shadowbrook our new tradition.

What a wonderful place to stay in the summer! The landscaping was absolutely beautiful, the accommodations were spotless, the view from our condo was spectacular (from the front and back doors!), the pool temperature was perfect (the pool toys were an added bonus for us adults, too!) and just a few steps away from Snowmass Village shopping and nightlife. We could easily walk to the evening concerts and outdoor movies from our condo. The summer chairlift rides were right next-door also. The condominium complex hosts...Sue and Keith were by far the most gracious, knowledgeable and fun management team we've ever encountered. We'll be back in a heartbeat!

Just would like to tell everyone what a great time our Skiyota ski club had at the Shadowbrook. Sue, Keith & Sandy (don't forget Bailey)are so friendly and helpful. We made Sue an Official Skiyota!! She even went thru initiation. Kelley kept the place looking immaculate! There is so much to do in Snowmass, and you can't beat Shadowbrook's location. Their pool and hot tub are great! We decided to take a last minute ski vacation for Thanksgiving this year. We stayed in Shadowbrook 404. What an awesome place! We just walked out our living room door, popped our skis on and were off! The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our son got lost and skied home during the middle of his ski lesson, and Sue was nice enough to check in on him throughout the day and make sure he was doing OK. (Sue, your welcome cookies were great by the way!) We will definitely be back again for some spring skiing! We want to stay in 404 again. We'll see you this spring. (Then you'll have to come down to Florida and visit us!)

Glad to see you added a comment page so we can let people know how awesome you are. We stayed at Shadowbrook (condo 406) this summer (2003) and had a wonderful time. Sue and Keith are so friendly and helpful, and Kelley kept the place looking immaculate! There is so much to do in Snowmass, and you can't beat Shadowbrook's location. Their pool and hot tub are great, and Keith makes sure all the pool toys stay blown up! We can't wait to come back in January for our ski vacation, and be able to ski right from our door. (And we can't wait to see what the renovation of 406 looks like!) We'll see you in January.
