The Shadowbrook Condominiums are the vey best place to vacation on Snowmass Mountain. The central location in the village places you close to all the activities and restaurants. Plus the ability to ski in and out is great, especially with kids and grandkids. We also enjoy relaxing in the heated pool or one of the two hot tubs with a glass of wine after a hard day of skiing. The staff of Sherri, Sue and Keith do everything to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We have been staying at Shadowbrook for over twenty years and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else, We love it!

I love being able to ski out my door to the Lower Village and from there to the Elk Camp Gondola or the Fanny Hill lift or the apres ski fun.  The pool is awesome - it's located perfectly a few steps to the hot tubs, and your muscles feel great after a day on the slopes.  The best part is sitting on the couch and watching my family ski on Fanny Hill.  This is fun!  It's easy to ski in and out.  We even skiied home for lunch!  Snowmass is beautiful - great bars, restaurants and shops.  Thanks!  We'll be back!

We found this online, so never sure exactly what you're getting, but were thrilled with this location and overall quality condo. the place looked brand new. We were traveling with anotherfamily, so a total of 8 people in a 2 bdrm (#205). Great location, truly ski in/ski out with handy ski storage lockers very easy to get to. Everyone loved it and wants to go back to the same exact place next spring. heated pool & hot tubs were located nearby and the condo was both well equipt and beautiful. We will definitely be coming back here.

The Shadowbrook condos in Snowmass was trerrific. Very spacious well located with accommodating management. My group rated it number one of all the condos we have been in. Landmark in Vail was not as good. I guess about 1/2 the size and not up to our usual par.

The amenities, accommodations and staff were delightful! Location on Fanny Hill with proxminity to both villages is fantastic!

We stayed in condo 404. The location is great. It is about a 15 ft walk outside the back door to the snow for ski-in-ski out. The pool and hot tub are also right outside the back door.
The kitchen is well equipped.
There are humidifiers in each room.
The only complaint is that it was too hot. The concierge attempted was very helpful and attempted to correct it with some success.

We have been coming to Snowmass for years - condo #402 surpasses any we've stayed in before.  The non-skiiers in our family enjoy watching the skiiers from the comfort of the sofa through the picture window.  Each evening we all gather in the beautiful hot tubs right outside our front door to rivive our muscles, trade ski stories, and enjoy the starry skies.

We saw the Shadowbrook's beautiful pools from the chairlift last year and decided we wanted to stay here! We are actually here now, and really enjoying ourselves. We love that we can keep an eye on our children in the bigger pool as we lounge in the adjoining hot pool. And the condo is really big and comfortable (503/4). The staff here is friendly and very helpful. So far so good!

Christmas Week 2009

Shadowbrook is a wonderful place to stay.  It really is ski-in/ski-out.  The accommodations couldn't be better.  If a problem arises Sherri, Sue, Kelley, and Keith are always ready to come to the rescue.  This is our fourth year at Shadowbrook and we will return.

We had a great week in Snowmass and a wonderful second year at the Shadowbrook Condos!  We just love the location and the convenience, not to mention the condition of the property.  Our two small children were in the ski school a mere 100 yds walk to the Treehouse.  I loved that feature because my bigger child could ski down and ski back in from the Skittles gondola.  He really felt like a big kid skiing in and out! I could walk my little one down and could even sneak a peak at her lesson or be there quickly if the school called. 

We had a washer and dryer in our unit this year and I thought I would really appreciate it but it didn't matter much.  Last year I put the laundry in the laundry room where they provided detergent and picked it up when it was done.  I don't spend much time doing laundry anyway on vacation.

Both of the units we have stayed in have been very well appointed and lacked for nothing.  I love that they provide some basics to get you started before you do some shopping, like paper towels, sponges, soap, etc.  The bus to the village grocery strore couldn't be easier.  We walked to the street and hopped on and were there in minutes.  If it wasn't so snowy and cold that week I would have walked.

We all liked unwinding in the beautiful pools after skiing.  They are new and always clean.
I like having the village mall and the new base village within a short walk if I feel like doing some shopping or getting meeting my husband for lunch.
We had never tried the Artisan restaurant before and loved the food as well as the very short walk down the street for dinner. 

We are looking forward to going back again next year and staying at Shadowbrook again! Thanks!

March was our first trip to Snowmass, and our stay at Shadowbrook could not have been better.  New hot tub was wonderful- hot, good jets, attractive and clean.  Staff- Sherri, Jorge, and others- were attentive to our needs and full of helpful information and explanations.  Condo (Unit 502) was comfortable, roomy, easily managed, and tasteful.  Housekeeping did a wonderful and unobtrusive job helping us keep the place clean and well-stocked.  Mother Nature cooperated with 5 1/2 bluebird days and 1 1/2 powder days.  Skier access is almost perfect, especially for lunch and upon closing the mountain.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return on a regular basis.

The pool and hot tub renovation was a big success.  The facility is very convenient to both the new kids' ski center and to the old base village.  We stayed in Unit 203 and could not be happier.  Very well put together and wonderful details.

We love staying at Shadowbrook. Our family enjoys the spacious double condo we rent and this year we were impressed and surprised by the new pool and hot tubs. They are wonderful and our family enjoyed them every afternoon when we finished skiing. It has been a great addition to the complex. We love being able to ski down to the lift, come in for lunch and the easy access to ski school for our granddaughter. We are coming back every year.
